We recently came into a need for a mousepad so we designed and made one.
One of the main reasons for trying out this mousepad (besides the simple fact that we needed one) was it allowed us to experiment with an idea that we've been kicking around for a while that involves thinning leather on the backside to create divots or impressions on the frontside, hence the little school desk-like pen nook (we—for whatever reason—are always scrambling for a pen, even at the computer). Exploration - success!
